About Payplus Africa
Built on expertise. Driven by Africa's potential.
Payplus Africa was established to address a critical gap in Ghana's advisory landscape — the absence of a specialist firm with both the depth to diagnose complex financial and institutional problems, and the hands-on experience to implement real transformation. We are not a generalist management consultancy. We are a firm built by practitioners who have spent their careers inside banking, financial technology, and institutional strategy — bringing that depth to banks, corporates, development organisations, and institutions alike.

Our Story
Why we exist.
Payplus Africa was founded on a conviction: that Ghana's banks — and the businesses they serve — deserve advisory partners who understand both the global best practice and the local reality. Too often, transformation initiatives are led by firms with global templates and limited contextual understanding. We bring the opposite.
Our founding principal spent over two decades inside banking and financial technology, building an understanding of how financial institutions and businesses actually work — their structural gaps, their commercial blind spots, their governance deficiencies, and their untapped potential. Payplus Africa was built to deploy that knowledge across banks, corporates, development programmes, and institutions serious about transformation.
Since 2020, we have grown from a payments advisory practice into a multi-practice firm operating across commercial banking transformation, corporate advisory, development finance consulting, healthcare institutional strategy, and professional education. Our clients range from top-tier Ghanaian commercial banks to EU-funded national programmes — united by a common need for rigorous, experienced, accountable advisory support.
Our vision remains what it has always been: a world of shared prosperity leveraging financial technology. We pursue that vision one transformation engagement at a time.

Innovation
We pursue new thinking — in methodology, in technology, and in the questions we ask. Innovation is not an aspiration for us; it is a discipline.
Collaboration
We work alongside our clients, not above them. Transformation requires partnership — and partnership requires trust, transparency, and shared accountability.
Integrity
We say what we believe and deliver what we promise. Our reputation is built on the quality of our work and the honesty of our counsel — nothing else.
Excellence
We hold ourselves to the standard of the best advisory firms in the world — while remaining deeply grounded in the African context we serve.
